Currently, FAMEEX Futures supports 4 types of order:

1. Limit Order: Users need to set up price and amount. A Limit Order will be filled if the order price matches the priority of price and then order time.

2. Market Order: If the users choose to open Market Order, market orders are matched immediately at the best available price.

3. Stop Limit Order: A Stop Limit order is a conditional order over a set price range, executed at a specified price after a given trigger price has been reached. Once the trigger price is reached, it will buy or sell at the limit price or at a better price than the price you set. Users can choose [Last Price] or [Mark Price] to open the order. You can set up separately for stop loss price and take profit price. Please note that our system will automatically withdraw your order if your margin is insufficient or exceeds the limit of positions.

Examples of Stop Limit Order:

Example A, if you place a stop limit order for a closing position…

Users open a long position around an average US$10,000, and expect to sell at US$8,000 to stop the loss when the market price turns down. You can set up according to the following parameters:

If you place a Stop Limit order:

[Trigger Price]: $9,000

[Order Price]: $8,950 (Suggest that you set up a lower price than trigger price to guarantee to fill immediately or fill by market price.)

If the price turns down below $9,000, it will trigger to sell at the price to close the position before $8,950.

If you place a Stop Market order, it’s matched immediately at the best available price.

If you want to take profit, you should set up the trigger price higher than $10,000.

Example B, if you place a stop limit order for a short position…

Users open a short position around an average US$10,000, and expect to buy at US$11,000 to avoid loss when the market price mounts.

You can set up according to the following parameters:

If you place a Stop Limit order:

[Trigger Price]: $10,000

[Order Price]: $11,050 (Suggest that you set up a higher price than trigger price to guarantee to fill immediately or fill by market price.)

If the price thrusts to $11,000, it will trigger to sell at the price to close the position before $11,050.

If you place a Stop Market order, it’s matched immediately at the best available price.

If you want to take profit, you should set up the trigger price lower than $10,000.

4. Stop Market Order: Similar to a Stop Limit Order, a Stop Market Order uses a stop price to trigger the trade. However, when the stop price is reached, it triggers a market order immediately.
