FameEX Security Settings Overview

To ensure the security of your transactions on FameEX, we further strengthen the user's security and provide five security verification methods.

1. Login Password

 It is recommended that you change the login password every three months.

Log in to your FameEX account, click the ‘Account Management’ icon in the upper right corner of the page, find ‘Login Password' under the ‘Security Settings’ section, and click ‘Modify’ to change your login password.

For your account security, withdrawals are disabled for 24 hours after changing your login password. Please keep track of the funds in your account.

2. Email 

Log in to your FameEX account, click the ‘Account Management’ icon in the upper right corner of the page, find ‘Email’ under the ‘Security Settings’ section, and click ‘Modify’ to change your email address.

For your account security, withdrawals are disabled for 24 hours after changing your email. Please keep track of the funds in your account.

3. Mobile Number

Log in to your FameEX account, click the ‘Account Management’ icon in the upper right corner of the page, find ‘Mobile Number’ under the ‘Security Settings’ section, and click ‘Link’ or ‘Modify’ to add or update your phone number.

For your account security, withdrawals are disabled for 24 hours after changing your mobile number. Please keep track of the funds in your account.

4. GA Verification Code

Google Authenticator is a dynamic password tool with stability, convenience, and security features. Its working principle is similar to SMS dynamic verification. After binding, a dynamic verification code is generated every 30 seconds, which can be used for operations such as login, withdrawals, and modifying security settings.

Log in to your FameEX account, click the ‘Account Management’ icon in the upper right corner of the page, find ‘GA Verification Code’ under the ‘Security Settings’ section, and click ‘Link’, ‘Modify’, or ‘Disable’ to set your Google Authenticator.

For your account security, withdrawals are disabled for 24 hours after changing your GA verification. Please keep track of the funds in your account.

5. Withdrawal Whitelist

The withdrawal whitelist feature lets you add cryptocurrency wallet addresses to your address book. Once enabled, withdrawals can only be made to the addresses listed in your address book. For enhanced asset security, FameEX recommends regularly updating your withdrawal addresses or securely storing the private keys associated with them and never sharing those keys with third parties.

Log in to your FameEX account, click the ‘Account Management’ icon in the upper right corner of the page, find ‘Withdrawal Whitelist’ under the ‘Security Settings’ section, and turn on ‘Enable’ or click ‘Manage’ to manage your whitelists.

Reminder: It is recommended to enable multiple security settings to better protect your assets!
