Users do not need to hold any cryptocurrency or use blockchain addresses. Simply complete identity verification, link your bank card, and you can acquire crypto assets using familiar banking methods.

All transactions are processed by our partnered third-party payment provider. Once the transaction is completed, USDT will be automatically credited to your FameEX funding account. Please note that USDT purchased using fiat currency will be labeled as “Bank Card Withdrawal Only”, meaning it cannot be withdrawn on-chain or transferred to external wallets.

1) Where Can I Find the “Buy Crypto / Deposit Fiat Currency” Option on FameEX?

It’s very easy and the steps vary by device:

Mobile App: Log in → Homepage → “Deposit” → “OTC Trading”

Web Platform: Log in → Top Menu → “Buy Crypto” → “OTC Trading”

2) What Must Be Completed Before Making a Fiat Deposit?

To ensure security and regulatory compliance, you must:

• Complete KYC verification
• Link a bank card under your own name (bank name, branch, and card number must be accurate)
• Ensure there are no ongoing OTC orders

Once these steps are completed, you can choose the amount to buy, review the exchange rate and settlement details, and follow the instructions to complete the bank transfer.

3) How Long Does It Take To Receive USDT After Depositing with Fiat?

After your bank transfer is submitted, USDT will be credited to your Funding account once the order status is updated. You can view the actual crediting time in the “Order Arrival Time” section of the order details page. The system will update the order once the third-party provider confirms your transfer.

4) What Payment Methods Are Supported?

Currently, only bank transfers are supported, and the bank card must be linked to the account holder in the account management section. If the card is not linked or does not belong to the account owner, the transaction cannot be completed.

1) Can USDT Purchased With Fiat Be Withdrawn On-Chain?

No. USDT obtained through fiat deposits is labeled as “bank card withdrawal only.”

These assets can only be withdrawn back to fiat currency via bank card and cannot be transferred on-chain or sent to external wallets. This ensures transparent fund sources and meets compliance requirements.

2) Are There Any Limits on Buying Cryptocurrency With Fiat?

Yes. The system evaluates several factors before allowing you to initiate a new purchase, including your available USDT balance, your “bank-card-only withdrawal limit,” and whether you have any ongoing OTC orders. If your balance is insufficient, the withdrawal requirements are not yet met, or there are still pending orders on your account, you will not be able to submit a new purchase request.

3) Can I Change My Bank Card Information After Linking It?

No. Once your bank card is linked, you cannot modify the information yourself. If you need to make any changes, please contact customer support and our platform administrator will assist you with updating your bank details.
