How to Enable/Disable/Change Google 2FA (Web)

Download the Google Authenticator App First:

For iOS users, you can find it in the App Store by searching "Google Authenticator”.

How to enable your Google 2FA?

1. Log in to your FameEX account, click the ‘User Center’ icon, and tap ‘Account Management’.

2. Under ‘Security Settings’ - ’GA Verification Code’, you can click ‘Link’ to enable.

3. Please use the Google Authenticator app to scan the QR code or manually enter the provided key into the app for verification.

4. Download and install the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device. Then, open the app and either scan the QR code or manually enter the provided key. Enter the 6-digit verification code from the app, and click ‘Modify’ to complete the process.

How to Disable Your Google 2FA?

1. Before disabling your Google 2FA, please link your mobile device first. Under ‘Security Settings’ - ’GA Verification Code’, you can click ‘Disable Verification’ to unlink it.

2. A verification code will be sent via SMS to your linked mobile number. Please check your SMS messages and enter the code promptly. Then, open the Google Authenticator app on your device, enter the 6-digit code, and click ‘Confirm’.

Reminder: Please note that withdrawals from your account will be suspended for 48 hours after Google 2FA reset (i.e., enable or disable) because of security concerns.
