How to Use FameEX Reusable Trial Funds for Futures?

Q1: What Are FameEX Reusable Trial Funds for Futures?

FameEX Reusable Trial Funds for Futures are platform coupon that can only be used for futures trading. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or used independently outside of futures trading. Trial funds may be used together with a user’s own funds as position margin, and can also be used to offset trading fees, funding fees, and realized losses when closing a position. After your position is closed, the system will automatically deduct the applicable trading fees, funding fees, and losses from the trial funds based on the pre-defined offset ratio. As long as the trial funds remain valid and have not expired, any unused balance may continue to be reused.

Reusable Trial Funds and the user’s own funds share costs based on a pre-defined deduction ratio. When a position incurs a loss, the trial fund covers its share according to its proportion within the position. Please note that while the trial fund itself is not withdrawable, any profits generated from trades that use the trial fund can be withdrawn.

Q2: How Can I Get the Reusable Trial Fund and Where Can I Check It?

Users may receive trial funds by participating in FameEX's welcome bonus, deposit tasks, or other official events. Once issued, the reusable trial fund is automatically credited to the user’s futures account and becomes available for use immediately, with no manual activation required.

・After the trial funds are credited, users can check whether they are marked as Reusable Trial Funds depending on the device they are using, and can also view their availability status, remaining balance, and validity period:

1) Web version: Go to ‘Futures’ trading page and check ‘Available’. Click ‘Effective Trial Funds’ to view the usage type is marked as Reusable.

・Details for Reusable Trial Fund Deduction:
After a position is opened or closed, if the trial fund is used in trading, the corresponding deduction details can be viewed in the ‘Transaction History’ section in the Futures of Assets page. The fund transaction records clearly will show the amounts of trading fees, funding fees, or losses separately by the trial fund and the user’s own funds. This allows users to easily check how the trial fund was applied and deducted.

Q3: Do I Need To Activate the Reusable Trial Fund? How Is It Used on FameEX?

The reusable trial fund becomes active automatically once issued. FameEX does not provide any manual activation option. When placing an order, the system will automatically prioritize your trial fund with the earliest expiration. Each order can use only one trial fund, and users cannot manually select or combine multiple trial funds.

Q4: How Do I Use the Reusable Trial Fund?

The reusable trial fund can be used as part of trading capital to offset initial margin, trading fees, funding fees, and realized losses upon closing a position. For cost expenses such as trading fees and funding fees, the trial fund and the user’s own funds are shared according to the platform’s deduction ratio. For losses, the trial fund covers losses based on its proportion within the position. If the remaining trial fund balance is insufficient to cover its allocated share, the system automatically deducts the shortfall from the user’s own funds. If the user’s own funds are also insufficient, the position may fail to open or be forcibly liquidated. It is important to note that the available amount of the trial fund is also subject to the preset leverage limits. When opening a futures position, the trial fund is only effective within the currently selected leverage range and cannot be fully applied under all leverage settings.

In other words, the leverage selected determines the maximum amount of trial funds that can be used. If a user attempts to increase position size by raising the order amount or quantity under the same trial fund and own-fund conditions, any portion exceeding the leverage limit will not be eligible for trial fund usage. Therefore, before trading with a trial fund, users are advised to confirm the available trial fund amount, offset ratio, and preset leverage to avoid order failures caused by exceeding leverage limits.

Q5: Under What Circumstances Do Reusable Trial Funds Expire or Become Invalid?

Trial fund validity is highly dependent on trading activity and account operations. It may become invalid immediately under the following circumstances:

  • Expiration: If the trial fund is not used before its validity period ends, it will be automatically reclaimed.
  • Transfer: If the user transfers assets out of the futures account, all unused trial funds expire instantly. Any pending orders containing trial funds will be canceled, and any active positions containing trial funds will be force-closed.
  • Deduction: Once trial funds are used to offset losses, trading fees, or funding fees, that portion is considered consumed and deducted. Any remaining trial fund balance may continue to be reused.

*Note: Trial funds cannot be used under isolated margin mode.

Q7: Are There Restrictions or Scenarios Where the Reusable Trial Fund May Be Reclaimed?

The reusable trial fund can only be used for futures trading and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or used for copy trading. While holding a trial fund, the account supports only one-way position mode and does not support simultaneous long and short positions. The trial fund may not be used for wash trading, self-trading, reverse positions, or other abnormal trading behaviors. If the platform determines that the trial fund has been misused or abused, it reserves the right to reclaim the trial fund and take further action on the user’s account.

Q8: Why Does Transferring Funds Cause the Trial Fund To Expire?

Once a transfer is initiated from the futures account, all unused trial funds are immediately reclaimed. If there are open orders or positions that use trial funds, the system will cancel those orders and forcibly close the positions. This is part of FameEX’s risk-control mechanism. Before transferring funds, users are advised to confirm whether any positions are currently using trial funds to avoid unexpected risks.

In addition to the Reusable Trial Funds described above, the platform also provide one-time trial funds distributed through specific campaigns. This type of trial fund can only be used for a single deduction. Any remaining balance will expire automatically after the position is closed. For detailed rules and restrictions regarding one-time trial funds, please refer to the following link: https://www.fameex.com/en-US/support/swap/futures-trial-fund-rules

The FameEX Trial Fund system offers flexible margin support but operates under strict rules. To ensure smooth trading, users are advised to monitor trial fund amounts, personal balance levels, and expiration times carefully, and confirm that no related positions with trial funds are open before initiating transfers.
