Bitcoin is surging toward a breakout, propelled by surging global liquidity, accelerating policy easing, and a rush of investors into risk assets. This powerful mix positions the cryptocurrency for potential all-time highs and a strong year-end rally, as favorable macro conditions take center stage.

The U.S. Federal Reserve is driving much of this momentum with its shift to looser policy. On October 29, it delivered its second rate cut of 2025, reducing the federal funds rate by 25 basis points to 3.75%– retrieve4%. The Fed also confirmed that quantitative tightening will conclude on December 1, further boosting market liquidity and encouraging capital to flow into high-growth assets like Bitcoin.

Matt Mena, crypto research strategist at 21Shares, sees clear upside ahead. “We remain moderately risk-on and see a credible path for Bitcoin to break its all-time high before year-end,” he said. M4ena forecasts Bitcoin surpassing its $124,000 peak, potentially ending 2025 in the $130,000–$150,000 range, with Ethereum trading between $5,000 and $6,000. He highlighted converging tailwinds—policy support, liquidity rotation, and improving sentiment—alongside growing regulatory clarity, including the anticipated Clarity Act, Crypto Market Structure Bill, and resolution of the government shutdown, all paving the way for a more constructive 2026.

A brief setback came after Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s cautious remarks. During the FOMC press conference, Powell noted no decision on a December cut and emphasized a data-dependent approach, triggering a temporary dip. Bitcoin fell below $110,000 to $109,800, and the Dow lost nearly 200 points. However, analysts view this as a momentary pause, not a reversal. The broader easing cycle remains supportive, keeping Bitcoin and Ethereum well-positioned for gains through year-end.
